AFL Outer East is pleased to announce its roadmap for all senior men’s and women’s football & netball competitions for the remainder of the 2021 season.
The league will return to senior competitions once permission is granted by the Victorian Government and a one-week training block (two sessions) is completed, as requested by its member clubs.
The structure for each of the Outer East’s men’s and women’s football & netball competitions have been finalised which has taken into consideration the feedback from its member clubs.
The finals structures for the senior football competitions are also relevant for all the open netball grades, reserves & under 19’s football competitions and all junior netball competitions within each division.
The top 6 finals series will follow the structure outlined below:
Week 1 – 1v2 in a Qualifying Final, with the winner receiving top ranking for week 2. 3v6 & 4v5 will be Elimination Finals.
Week 2 – Winner of 1v2 will play the lower ranked winner of the Elimination Finals. Loser of 1v2 will play the higher ranked winner of the Elimination Finals.
