Unfortunately for 2023, Yea were unable to get a side up and running. Hopefully they are able to do so in 2024.

Netball

2023 presents a growth year for Yea, on the back of a struggling 2022 campaign.

They won their one game and lost 14 times, with their win coming against Kinglake in Round 14, smashing them 43-22.

This followed a one goal loss to Kinglake in their previous encounter.

Rhiannon Aldous had a day out, shooting 28 goals, with Nikki Watts slotting 15 of her own. Mollie Jarvie also had a great game that day.

Aldous scored 210 goals from limited matches.

Ruby O’Dwyer and Chelsea Spagnolo had strong seasons as did Alicia McLeod, whilst Elly Hendrie had a strong finish to the season.

Yea managed 27 goals per game and conceded 51 per game.

They will look to see improvement as a whole and can look to pinch a few more wins in 2023.
