Van Noordennen has been involved in umpiring and football for almost 30 years at all levels and locations, working at both the state and community level, in both the Metropolitan and Country landscapes.
His role with the Outer East will entail more than just heading up the Umpiring department however, with Van Noordennen to working closely with all clubs in the Outer East, aiming to help aid their strategic development and long term future.
It will be in this area that Van Noordennen calls upon his lengthy time in the education and development industries, which compliment his 20 plus years of coaching and management, which included change and standards development management.
Van Noordennen is looking forward to beginning his new role which will hopefully see him create some strong relationships with all members of the AFL Outer East.
“I’m very excited to be appointed to the role of Umpiring and Club Development Manager and am looking forward to meeting and working with the umpires, administrators, clubs and players in the AFL Outer East.”
AFL Outer East Region General Manager Aaron Bailey is equally as excited by the statement that Van Noordennen’s arrival in the AFL Outer East will make.
