Graeme is an Outer East Football Netball Life Member and has been a most valuable member since joining the YVMDFNL Board in 1999.
Graeme has previously served as President and more recently returned to fulfil the role of Vice Chair in 2020. His community sporting experience added to his well-rounded financial background, which saw him add great value to the Board throughout his tenure.
Graeme reflects fondly on time with us, but the introduction of Netball teams into our competition stands out.
‘Introducing Netball in the YVMDFNL competition for the first time in 2005 was a great achievement, and to see the growth from when it started to where it is now, is amazing’.
Leo is also an Outer East Football Netball Life Member and has been on both the YVMDFNL and Outer East Football Netball Boards for over 20 years.
“I would like to say a big thank you to all the clubs who have welcomed me throughout my time on the board & during my time broadcasting. I’ve made many friends amongst all the clubs. I’ve got many stories to tell, too many for this time. I’ll try to go to as many games as possible, perhaps call the odd game! If not, you’ll find me at the Gembrook end of your ground!”
Leo also served as President of the YVMDFNL, a role which he excelled at. His work on the radio and in the commentary van, covering Football and Netball for 30+ years has been a pleasure for all who were able to tune in.
Both Graeme and Leo have given outstanding service to Outer East Football Netball, YVMDFNL and the region in general, and we wish them all the best for the future.
