SOCKIT2MND UPDATE

Dear sporting clubs, leagues, associations and supporters of the Sockit2MND Round,

We are all currently experiencing a unique and rare situation with COVID-19 which is providing severe business interruptions and anxiety across various sectors and industries and we acknowledge the many challenges faced by the Australian community, including sports leagues and clubs like yours.

We extend our best wishes to you in these uncertain times. We are hopeful that your respective seasons will commence in the coming weeks and the 2020 Sockit2MND Round will be staged as planned.

Anticipating this, we wish to advise that sock orders can still be placed before March 25 should you wish to, notwithstanding we appreciate it may be a financially difficult time for your club.

We have taken this into consideration and want to extend a flexible payment policy on your sock order. If you place an order for your club, league or association, we will not require any payment to be made until it is clear when your season will begin and when you are able to lock in a date for your round.

For all those that have supported the campaign already by purchasing socks, thank you. At this stage your socks will be arriving as planned and shipped within the previously advised time frames. We will keep you informed in the instance there are any changes to this

Should the round be cancelled due to the COVID-19 health restrictions, FightMND will hold your sock order until 2021.

The escalating events of recent weeks and the growing concern over the health and well-being of all has impacted our planning and execution of some of our own activity.

The coming weeks and months remain very fluid and uncertain but as information becomes available and we are able to share with you what the remainder of 2020 looks like for FightMND, we will be in touch immediately as we value the contribution you, as key stakeholders make to our organisation and the fight against MND.
