PETA ADAMS -250 Games
The Warburton- Millgrove Football/ Netball Club is extremely proud to announce that Peta Adams will play her 250th Senior Club Netball game in the last round against Doveton. Hence, becoming the first Netball Player to be awarded Life Membership of the Club for reaching this milestone, since the Netball Competition commenced in 2005.
In 2005 she won the first Club A- Grade Best & Fairest Award- a joint winner with Kerry Walton. She has won several other club awards since. In 2017 she was a joint winner of the YRFNL D Grade Best & Fairest award.
Peta has always been an active member around the club all that time since and has also been involved on the Club Committee as the Netball representative. She has contributed greatly to the wonderful ongoing success of Netball within the club. She has helped Coach and Captain teams and has also been leading Goal Shooter in many of the seasons since 2005.
Her daughters are all now playing for the Burras. Teagan in the C- Grade and Jade and Mackenzie both in D- Grade with their mother. Mackenzie also plays in the 17 & Under’s Team. Her husband, Grant, is a past Club Secretary and a former Senior Club Footballer. The Warburton- Millgrove Football/ Netball Club has been extremely fortunate to have had such a dedicated family involved in both playing and administration.
Peta has set a wonderful example for our younger up and coming Netballers throughout all that time since 2005. The Burras congratulate Peta on an outstanding achievement and thank her for her wonderful commitment and positive example she has always displayed.
