In one of their worst results to date this Premier Division season, Mt Evelyn suffered a heavy loss at the hands of Whitehorse Suns. The margin was only 14 points at quarter time, but Mt Evelyn struggled to score all afternoon. They ended up kicking their lowest score for the entire season, a solitary point coming in the third term.

With Blackburn getting the win over Donvale, Mt Evelyn slip to 4^th on the table, but only percentage separates the two sides. Mt Evelyn head into a bye this weekend, but really need to win their remaining five games in order to make sure they make the finals.

After a great win the previous weekend, Upwey Tecoma came crashing back to earth in Division One, losing to neighbours Upper Ferntree Gully. The margin was only seven points at quarter time, but like Mt Evelyn, Upwey Tecoma struggled to score all afternoon, only kicking one goal. Jessica Walton kicked that goal, while Monica Vantilburg, Lana Kitteringham and Madison Walsh were among the best in what was a tough afternoon at the office for the Tigers.

The loss sees the Tigers drop to 4^th place on the ladder. They are a game behind 3^rd placed East Ringwood, but also a game clear of 5^th placed Knox.

In what is becoming a bit of a broken record story, both Healesville and Monbulk had big wins in the Outer East Division.

Monbulk were able to keep Belgrave scoreless for the first half, and to only one point for the second half, to win by 53 points. Kathryn Gow continued her goal kicking prowess this season, this time kicking six, making it 14 in two weeks for the Hawks livewire. Meanwhile Magdalena Jaruga and Maddison Dodd each chipped in with one apiece.

Meanwhile over at Yarra Junction Reserve, Healesville had a comfortable 50 point win over Yarra Junction. Yarra Junction were kept goaless for the first term, but did manage to kick one in the second.Healesville kept on applying the scoreboard pressure, and at half time the margin was 33 points and by the final change it was 43. Yarra Junction did not help their chances by going scoreless in the second half. 

Danielle Carrucan was once again top of the Healesville goalkicking tally, this time kicking five. Jaimee Petersen kicked two and Rebecca Collins kicked one.
