In the Under 18 Premier Division, Mt Evelyn suffered their third loss on the trot, going down to neighbours Montrose.
Scores were level at quarter time, but Mt Evelyn had a scoreless second term which saw Montrose extend the lead to nine points. Mt Evelyn were able to shrink the margin back to four points by three quarter time but went scoreless again in the final term and Montrose were able to stretch the lead out to 11 points and take the win.
In Division One, Seville further cemented their hold on 2nd place on the ladder with a win over The Basin. They were down by a point at half time but were able to turn that around in the third term and took a one goal lead into the final term. They kept The Basin scoreless in the last term and extended the margin out to the final margin of 20 points.
In the Under 16 Premier Division, Mt Evelyn got their 2nd win in a row with victory over Vermont. Despite having a scoreless third term, there was no problem for Mount Evelyn as they registered a 17 point win.
In the Under 16 Outer East Division, restricting Olinda-Ferny Creek to a scoreless first half set up a comfortable win for Healesville, running away with a 73 point win. Scarlett Potter kicked five goals for Healesville in the big win.
In the closest match of the round, Upwey Tecoma defeated Yea after leading at every change. The margin was only three points, and Yea’s inaccuracy hurt them, as the final score line read Upwey 7.9 to Yea’s 6.12.
In the Under 14 Outer East Division, Emerald had a big win over Healesville. Healesville were kept goalless as Emerald ran away with a 53 point win.
After a goalless opening term from both sides, Olinda Ferny Creek grabbed the first goal of the match against Jetstream to take the lead at half time. Jetstream remained goalless at three quarter time, but Olinda Ferny Creek kicked an extra goal in the final term to take a 10 point win.
Monbulk took the early lead in their match against Mt Evelyn, but by half time it was Mt Evelyn who had taken the lead. The Rovers held the lead at every change after that and ended up taking a 14 point win.
In the Under 12 Outer East Division there were wins to Belgrave Pink (over Healesville), Yarra Glen (over Olinda Ferny Creek) and Belgrave Black (over Mt Evelyn).
