In a heartbreaking result, Mt Evelyn lost to Rowville Knights in the Under 18 Premier Division. The scores were level at the final change, before both sides played out a scrappy last quarter with the only score in the final quarter a solitary point to the Knights.

In Division One, Seville are back on the winners list in a big way, thrashing Upper by 109 points. Seville restricted Upper to a scoreless opening half, and kept them to score their entire score in the third quarter. The win bumps Seville up to 2^nd place on the ladder.

In the Under 16 Premier Division, two scoreless terms really cost Mt Evelyn in their loss to Blackburn. 

The margin was very close up until three quarter time, but a scoreless final term for Mt Evelyn and Blackburn doubling their score blew the margin out and resulted a 21 point win to the Burners.

In the Under 16 Outer East Division, Seville had a confidence boosting win over Olinda Ferny Creek. Olinda Ferny Creek were only able to score in the middle two quarters as Seville registered a 40 point win.

A scoreless first term was a sign of things to come for Yarra Glen in their loss to Yea. Yarra Glen struggled to score, kicking their only goal in the second quarter, with Yea ending up winning by 29 points.

In the final game of the round, Upwey Tecoma also had a confidence boosting win, with a 39 point win over Healesville. The margin was only four points at quarter time, but it blew open as the game went on. Healesville didn’t kick another goal until the final term.

Speaking of confidence boosting wins, Mt Evelyn had a comfortable win over Jetstream in the Under 14 Outer East Division. Jetstream were kept scoreless as Mt Evelyn raced away to a 65 point win.

Monbulk also had a big win, this time to the tune of 60 points over Olinda Ferny Creek. After going scoreless in the opening term, Olinda Ferny Creek were only able to score a goal in the second quarter. At half time the margin was only 20 points, but things blew open in the third term, with the margin extending out to 45 points.

Continuing the theme of the round, Emerald had a big win over Healesville. Kept to a solitary behind up until three quarter time, Healesville finally scored a goal in the final quarter, but by then the margin was already in excess of fifty points, and in the end it was 55.

In the final game of the round, although the margin was not as big as the other three games, Worawa still had a comfortable win over Belgrave. The Magpies’ sole goal came in the second term as Worawa piled on the scoreboard pressure. In the end the margin was 44 points.

In the Under 12 Outer East Division, it was a win to Belgrave Black in the battle of Belgrave, while Mount Evelyn defeated Yarra Glen and Healesville beat Olinda Ferny Creek.
