We remind all clubs, participants and spectators to ensure they are using the required Victorian Government QR Code Service and are actively encouraging people attending their venues on trainings or match days to scan in.
As this is a main measure that’s assisting us to keep playing the games we love.
Netball Vic Update:
In line with this morning’s announcement by the Victorian Government, community sport may continue under existing COVIDSafe plans. Face masks must be worn whilst indoors at our venues in Greater Melbourne from 6pm on Tuesday, 25 May 2021. Players and umpires are not required to wear a mask while participating, but you must wear your mask at all other times in indoor venues.
A list of new public exposure sites has been released by the Victorian Government. The exposure sites are now available at https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/exposure-sites.
Please ensure that you continue to follow our COVIDSafe protocols when attending training & games, ensuring you check in and practice good hygiene.
It is important that all players, coaches, officials and spectators comply to ensure we keep our community and venues safe.
AFL Vic update:
AFL Vic are unlikely to have the updated RAD (Restricted activity directions) from AFL Vic by this evening so as such they strongly advise the below amendments to the protocols for this evening only until we confirm the updated RAD when received.
We will issue updates as soon as they come to hand. But please use this as the basis of your amendments for this evening post 6pm. Attached below is a Greater Melbourne Map link for reference.
