Nicole Robbins – June Coach of the month
Congratulations to Nicole Robbins our June Coach of the month!
Nicole is currently the B Grade netball coach at ROC Netball club and has been involved with the club for several years and was nominated by the parent of players Nicole had coached:
“Nic Robbins has coached a couple of my daughters over the years at ROC Netball Club. She is so amazing with the girls. She makes them feel confident and happy on and off the court. She gives to much time to each and every player not just in her own team but every girl from every team. She not only coaches but is the president of the club and she has been there for years and given so much of her time to the club even though she has two younger children herself. She is just there for everyone on and off the court and I admire her so much. My daughters both love her”
Amazing work Nicole on fostering such a positive environment at the club. Thank you for your contributions.
Mel Davey – June Volunteer of the month
Our June Volunteer of the month…. Mel Davey!
Where to start on Mel’s contributions to Belgrave. Not only does Mel contribute to the football/netball club as secretary, treasurer and netball ops, but also volunteers as the secretary of the cricket club.
Among many achievements Mel has been inducted to the Belgrave FNC life members.
“Mel is the glue that holds our club together, she makes sure it continues to run. She’s at the club every day of her life, even in the off season, making sure we have somewhere amazing to play. She will do anything for anyone and is just an icon at our club. She has worked closely with the council on our redevelopment plan, gotten us netball courts at the club, and contributed to the beginning of our women’s football team back in 2019, amongst many other things. She’s the heart and soul of Belgrave and we wouldn’t be here without her.”
Mel is known as the “Queen of Belgrave”, long may she reign. Great work Mel!
