The AFL Outer East and Yarra Ranges Umpire Association are recruiting new umpires for the 2021 football season.
Footy’s back in 2021, and what better way to get involved than to become an Outer East Umpire.
Get fit, have fun, and be paid to do it (tax free).
The YRUA is a proven launching pad for umpires aspiring to higher levels. The league will provide coaches in 2021 who have established themselves at VFL level, while AFL umpires will also feature at training and talent pathway programs.
Umpires have the flexibility to preference which days they work and can be placed close to home.
Pre-season training commences this Friday, February 19 at 6.00pm at Kilsyth Recreation Reserve (95 Colchester Road, Kilsyth).
This will be followed by a session on Sunday, February 21 at 10.00am, which will include training, an information session and a barbeque at Emerald Football Netball Club (Chandler Reserve), as well as an opportunity to meet the 2021 coaches.
For all new umpires, and for those who registered in 2020 and earlier and have not yet registered for 2021, please do so here.
