The AFL Outer East Women’s Advisory Group is excited to present Women in Leadership: A Webinar Series.

Are you keen to make sure your club is running the best it can? Are you interested in being a leader at your club but would like some tips and advice from women who have led before?

The AFL Outer East Women’s Advisory Group wants to make sure that women are represented, at all levels in our clubs, including club committees.

If you are interested in club leadership, these seminars are FOR YOU.

The free two-part online event in November, featuring special guest Lisa Alexander, will focus on finding courage and confidence in sports leadership.

Lisa has established herself as an exceptional leader in sport as the most recent Head Coach of the Australian Diamonds, the number one ranked netball team in the world over the past nine years.

The webinar series will also showcase known female Presidents from across the AFL Outer East on their experiences and reflections as leaders.

These seminars are on offer for women associated with football and netball clubs across the AFL Outer East, providing them with the opportunity to engage with like-minded people.

We encourage women of all ages and abilities to register for this valuable opportunity to develop skills in leadership as future coaches, committee members and presidents.

Whether you’re a player, spectator, volunteer or parent, this is a chance to elevate skills that are transferable to your career and personal life.

It is strongly recommended that you attend both online events.

The newly-formed AFL Outer East Women’s Advisory Group is made up of key figures from within clubland and across the region, and will support the League in developing a gender equality policy and other matters involving women and girls.
