AFL Outer East today announces an exciting new partnership, welcoming GameFace as the Official Media Partner of the league.
The three-year deal will see co-partners GameFace and Sportscast Australia drive digital engagement across the league by delivering services including game day vision, live streams and social media content.
Since its inception in 2017, GameFace has established itself as a leading digital solutions provider across local community sport, holding successful partnerships in leagues such as the MPNFL and the SFNL.
Sportscast Australia, trusted by the likes of Cricket Australia, Basketball Australia and Football Federation Australia, offers innovative technology across live sport, broadcasting, video analysis, data tagging and communications.
AFL Outer East Regional General Manager Aaron Bailey said the partnership would both showcase the league and connect the Outer East community.
“We want to provide the best possible digital experience for our league and its clubs, and we believe this partnership will allow us to take that to the next level,” Bailey said.
“We’ve seen the digital impact that GameFace and Sportscast Australia have had on local community leagues and we’re excited to use that expertise across our league too.”
GameFace General Manager Glenn Carter said he was thrilled to extend GameFace’s services to the Outer East region.
“We’re delighted to be on board and look forward to building our connection with the AFL Outer East and its clubs while growing their digital and social media presence,” Carter said.
“We’re committed to giving the fans what they want and we’re excited to provide them with new content and an enhanced digital experience.”
The partnership between GameFace and Outer East will also include the appointment of a shared new role, Media and Marketing Coordinator. An announcement on this appointment will be made shortly.
