Roadmap to completing the season – Junior competitions

AFL Outer East is pleased to announce its roadmap for all junior boy’s and girl’s football competitions for the remainder of the 2021 season.

As previously advised, the Outer East will return to competition as soon as permission is granted by the Victorian Government.

The structure for each of the Outer East’s junior boy’s and girl’s football competitions have been finalised which included feedback from its member clubs and are outlined below.

GLENBRAE JUNIORS U11 to U13

If lockdown ends by August 21st

August 22: Week 2 of Finals
August 25: Week 3 Finals
August 29: Grand Finals

If lockdown ends by August 28th

August 29: Week 2 of Finals
September 1: Week 3 Finals
September 5: Grand Finals

If lockdown ends by September 4th

September 5: Week 2 of Finals
September 8: Week 3 Finals
September 12: Grand Finals

If lockdown ends by September 11th

September 12: Grand Finals (1v2)

GLENBRAE JUNIORS U15 to U17

If lockdown ends by August 20th

August 22: Week 1 of Finals
August 29: Week 2 of Finals
September 1: Week 3 Finals
September 5: Grand Finals

If lockdown ends by August 27th

August 29: Week 1 of Finals
September 5: Week 2 of Finals
September 8: Week 3 Finals
September 12: Grand Finals

If lockdown ends by September 4th (Reduced to Top 4 series)

September 5: Week 1 of Finals
September 12: Grand Finals

If lockdown ends by September 11th

September 12: Grand Finals (1v2)

* If the Junior finals need to be cut short, the option for the teams who will miss out to play an extra match has been presented to clubs and we will work these clubs if this option is required.
