Season Update 15/7/2021

AFL Outer East wishes to provide the following update after today’s announcement from the Victorian Government.

With the announcement from the Victorian Government that the state will go into lockdown as of 11:59pm Thursday 15 July, all football and netball matches scheduled from Friday 16 July to Sunday 18 July will not take place this weekend.

Training tonight (Thursday 15th) is permitted to proceed. It is recommended that a get-in, get-out approach is applied. Training after tonight must be in line with the Victorian Government COVID-19 protocols.

Given competitions are at different stages of their respective seasons, AFL Outer East will provide updates on fixturing and resumption of games in the coming days.
